~Friday Fun Fact

Women who sleep five hours or less per night weigh more on average than those who sleep 7 hours. Why? Not getting enough sleep makes your body release an appetite causing hormone called Ghrelin that makes you want to eat more. However, getting at least 7 hours of sleep can lower your Ghrelin levels and increase the levels of the fat burning & appetite suppressing hormone Leptin. Bottom Line: Nighty-night ladies!
